When your variable-geometry turbo shows

Maintenance level no. 1
-
Removal of the turbine casing
-
Removal of the variable system and its accessories
-

Ultrasonic inspection of the turbine casing, variable system and
accessories

Descaling in an ultrasonic bath
-
Rinsing
After cleaning the variable system and its accessories in the two
ultrasonic baths, the turbine casing is sand-blasted to finish the
cleaning process.
It is then immersed in phosphating bath to prevent rusting, which
restores its as new appearance.
We also systematically grind the sealing surfaces of the casing
(collector and exhaust sides). The rotor assembly is cleaned and
inspected on the V.S.R. test bench (noise, vibration and sealing
inspections). At this stage, if the rotor assembly is out of
tolerance, we notify you of the problem. If there is no particular
problem, we rebuild the assembly and check the actuator pressure.
- We then dispatch your turbo.
- Delivery lead time: 24/48 hours from receipt of your turbo on our
premises and from your agreement to proceed with work.
